Visual Studio Breakpoint Not Hit No Symbols Loaded

Is there any chance of getting a Windows hotfix for this? What ever it is, essentially what this means is that you cannot debug your source code where these breakpoints will not hit. So ideally, you don't have to read this point by the time you're done with the above pointers. Maybe you could lookin to it?! 🙂 And I really, really hope we can run in default (IIS7) mode in the future.

You could be running the .dll hosted in your GAC folder instead of the one in your bin folder. The hotfix you pointed us to that just came out 3 days ago seems to work like a champ! I did answer "yes" when I got the "versioning" dialog and I don't know how to undo that. Used to work just fine, not anymore and I get that stupid breakpoint has no symbols message.

Try these steps: Perform a "Clean" build in Visual Studio. This is a little different for ASP.net applications though.
