The Rift gives you 120 (about 110 of that usable) but still 1920*1080 @ 80% renderspace (unused space due to the lenses). WW2 Ghurka's were famous for patrolling in moonless nights, navigating into enemy positions, finding and killing by touch. It gives you a better sense of where you are in the game world.
