the alt part of the combination is ignored, keep the alt key pressed and press tab again and it works. Citrix Transparentkeypassthrough Before clicking on the ‘Remote Desktop’, check the ‘Preferences -> Session Settings’. HKLM means who ever loggin to the machine they will get this settings. I have doe the registry settings as mentioned but still ALT+TAB not working in VM.

If not try the suggestion made by Tushar. @Tushar: That doesn't seem to work for us. users have Citrix receiver installed on their local machine. Hadn't considered tracking it back that way.
